As a potential holiday hotspot, Rain City fails to ignite enthusiasm. But if it sounds like your cup of tea, you’ll be sorted as it launches on Xbox.
A gloomy city where it rarely spits but always pours, you’ll be found heading to Rain City in order to find your long-lost sister. But whilst the inhabitants of this delightful place are nothing but lifelike animals, the fact that it is ALWAYS raining, and ALWAYS gloomy initially points to this being a bit of a slog.
Look beyond that though and there is promise. Rain City itself is a place full of interest and intrigue, and with a story pushing you through the land, you’ll find the chance to involve yourself in a variety of puzzles, in numerous mini games and in the meeting and chatting of tons of characters. When you include the picture-book styled visuals and it’s safe to say that you’ve got something that could well excite.
It’s priced extremely well too, with just a £4.99 price tag attached to the purchase and download of Rain City from the Xbox Store. Doing so will let you play the game on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.
We’ll be sure to drop a review of Rain City on Xbox in the days ahead so stay tuned for that, but in the meantime let us know if you fancy taking a trip to a city where it rarely stops pouring in Rain City.
