There are a whole multitude of space faring options out there, promising to take us to unknown worlds in order to discover a ton of secrets. LOST ORBIT: Terminal Velocity centres itself around the exploration of that space, and today it is found firing full thrusters towards Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, LOST ORBIT: Terminal Velocity will set you back just £8.39 – with a lovely launch discount dropping that further – but for that pretty low price, you’ll get access to a universe that is teaming with life.

LOST ORBIT (yep, those caps are essential) sees you playing out proceedings as a maintenance worker who is attempting to make his way home. As you would expect though, his journey is not going to be a simple one and as space is full of nasties, and as ‘Harrison’ finds himself equipped with little tools, much struggle will ensue.

Previously released on certain formats as the bog standard LOST ORBIT, this Terminal Velocity edition promises to be the definitive version of the game, with it arriving on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch for the very first time. For those who have played the game elsewhere, there will however be all manner of new mechanics to enjoy, along with 12 new story driven levels, a brand new solar system, the chance to partake in 15 new challenging levels and the opportunity to escape from a bunch of space pirates in an utterly intense boss chase.

Our full review of LOST ORBIT: Terminal Velocity on Xbox One will be with you in the days ahead, however for now, should you be willing to part with that low cash asking price, will find the usual digital stores happily giving up a download. Us Xbox One owners should move on over to the Xbox Store, whilst the PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC equivalents will allow for the same.

Make sure you let us know in the comments below if you’ll be giving this latest journey through space some time.

Game Description:

Stranded after his ship is destroyed in deep space, Harrison, a lowly maintenance worker and our hero, must struggle to find his way home… LOST ORBIT centers around the exploration of space. Players take control of a lone astronaut (Harrison) who sets off on a dangerous journey to rejoin his civilization, armed with only an improvised set of equipment and a relentless spirit. Without the help of his ship, Harrison will need to use the gravitational forces of planets to navigate and propel himself through space. Set in a world rich with comedy and tragedy, LOST ORBIT is a game filled with risk, loneliness, wonder, and death.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
