Bored of everyday life? Can’t wait to escape the humdrum of the city? The Sims feel the same and today the opportunity is there to send your beloved virtual family off to the most wonderful of worlds with the addition of The Sims 4 Island Living.

Available to purchase and download into your The Sims 4 game right now, Island Living does very much what it says on the tin, delivering the paradise styled lifestyle to your Sims.

Coming in with the usual hefty The Sims 4 DLC price, should you wish to send your guys off on a bit of a vacation then you’re looking at shelling out a rather cool £34.99. Yes, Xbox One owners who have a subscription to the brilliant EA Access scheme see a small discount on that, but even then, £30+ is a big old price to pay for a bit of new content.

Thankfully, The Sims 4 Island Living does at least seem to come with enough draw to possibly warrant a second look. See, it’ll bring in a world that is drenched by the sun, the sand, and the fun, as your very own Sims get the opportunity to create a new life for themselves. This world of paradise is a glorious one and whether you decide that they should embrace the local way of life and kick back in some native clothing, or begin to help the conservation efforts to live a green lifestyle matter little – they’ll be in their own little bit of paradise and that is all that will matter.

You’ll quite obviously need the base game of The Sims 4 on Xbox One (or other formats) should you wish to jump in at the deep end with this latest downloadable content pack, but from there on out the usual digital store offerings will sort you out. For us Xbox One gamers, the Xbox Store will be found delivering the goodies.

Do your Sims deserve some time away to embrace the way of Island Living? Let us know in the comments if you’ll be sending them off on a new adventure.

DLC Description:

Escape the ordinary and embrace a laid-back lifestyle surrounded by beaches in The Sims 4 Island Living. Explore a breezy world drenched in sun, sand, and endless fun as your Sims make their own paradise. Whether they contribute to the conservation effort or prefer living off the grid, your Sims can take the plunge and enjoy what this unique culture has to offer. Embrace traditional events, wear native clothing styles, or sip on some kava. It’s all part of Sulani island life.
