Since 2017, Die With Glory has been doing the rounds on PC and mobile, giving players the opportunity to fall into the shoes of a brave old viking warrior as they head of on the search of glory, and Valhalla. Today that same adventure comes to Xbox, and whilst those looking for the true afterlife would probably be best served by Ubisoft’s epic Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, this may well be able to fill a short, sharp gap.

Available to purchase and download from the Xbox Store for £5.79, Die With Glory sees the ChiliDog Interactive team pick up and push out the game to console, with it playable on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Working a non-linear narrative in which you’ll have to help the brave Viking warrior Sigurd reach his ultimate goal of Valhalla, you should expect a ton of humour and some rich ideas as you point and click your way to glory.

For the most part this entire adventure will deliver everything it has through some really well executed visuals, full of rich colour, capable of unfolding as you help Sigurd on his journey. With a ton of challenge in front of you though this won’t be an easy ride – expect big boss battles and plenty of takedowns as you go.

We’ll have a full review of Die With Glory on Xbox coming your way soon, but for now you’ll find that the usual Xbox Store hit will provide you with the download you require. Let us know what you think of this entire adventure once you’ve had a whizz through it. Unless of course you’re still dropping the hundreds of hours into Ubi’s epic!

Game Description:

Die With Glory is an adventure game where your goal is to basically die in glorious fashion. You must help Sigurd, a brave old viking warrior, find his way to glory and an afterlife in Valhalla. Reaching Valhalla is not easy at all. You must guide Sigurd through multiple levels of beautifully illustrated landscapes, epic adventures, complex challenges, big battles, and witty dialogue with characters to find the right foe that can provide that perfect glorious and ultimate defeat.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
