Hell Let Loose – new DLC now here

Hell Let Loose players, it’s time to reinforce your ranks with new gear themed around the intense battles of the North African campaign!

Two new cosmetic DLC packs, focusing on the British 8th Army and their DAK counterparts during the Siege and Battle of Tobruk, have arrived, offering fresh looks for your soldiers on the front lines.

This new content lands for a game that continues to thrive since its 2021 launch and is currently available free for subscribers via Game Pass.

Long Range Desert Group (£3.99)

Step into the boots of the elite Long Range Desert Group with this focused DLC pack. Known for their vital intelligence gathering behind enemy lines, the Long Range Desert Group provided crucial details on enemy movements to the British 8th Army command.

This pack includes:

  • Uniform & Headwear/Helmet/Beard: Authentic cosmetic items reflecting the gear used by the LRDG.
  • Applicable Roles: Specifically designed for the Recon Spotter and Recon Sniper roles, perfect for players who specialise in reconnaissance.

Western Desert Campaign Units (£11.99)

For those looking for a broader selection of desert attire, the Western Desert Campaign Units pack offers uniforms and headgear for multiple roles across both the British and German forces involved in the Battle of Tobruk.

This pack contains:

  • 6 New Uniforms: British 8th Infantry, British 8th Armour, British 8th Commander, DAK (Deutsches Afrikakorps) Infantry, DAK Commander, DAK Armour
  • 2 New Head Gear Items: British 8th Beret, DAK Helmet
  • 2 New Heads: British 8th, DAK

Return to the Brutal Front Lines

These cosmetic additions provide new ways to customise your experience in a game renowned for its hardcore, large-scale tactical gameplay. Hell Let Loose first deployed back in 2021 and continues to offer intense 50v50 battles where teamwork is paramount.

As our original 4/5 review stated: “Throwing you head on into 50v50 warfare, in which teamwork is essential and death comes quickly in huge maps, Hell Let Loose is a stunning game that had me playing round after round. Aesthetically it could use work, the frame-rate drops do start to become a bit tedious and the sheer scale of maps may put off some people. However, it’s a great bit of brutal warfare and one I know I’ll be keeping installed for a long time to come.

The arrival of new themed content like the Long Range Desert Group and Western Desert Campaign packs gives players even more reason to dive back into that brutal, rewarding warfare.

Head to the Xbox Store to add these new cosmetic options to your Hell Let Loose collection today. The base game is currently available as part of Game Pass.
