Help King Leo recover his steak on Xbox One and Series X|S

When some hungry alligator steals an even hungrier lion’s prized steak, all hell begins to let loose. Especially when it’s the steak of King Leo that has been nabbed.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, King Leo from the Joindots team seems to be a fun little romp through a side-scrolling platform adventure, as you help the titular lion recover his favourite steak from the clutches of an evil alligator.

It’s priced at £11.99 – which honestly seems a little high for what is on offer here – but promises to then let you take in a fun, action packed platform experience in which you join King Leo on his quest to get back that steak. The usual tropes come to the fore here – navigate across multiple platformers, traverse various obstacles and bounce back against foes.

And that is, at least what we can gather from the sparse press kits and trailer, pretty much it for King Leo. You’ll know what to expect here, as long as you’ve played any platformer from over the years.

A copy of King Leo can be yours be paying the Xbox Store a visit. You’ll find King Leo playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S (and PC), with the most powerful Xbox consoles seeing the game fully optimised.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
