Remember the great brick breaking style action that Doughlings: Arcade brought to the masses last year? Well, the Hero Concept team have unveiled a sequel in the form of Doughlings: Invasion for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. But this time, instead of whacking a ball at infected Doughlings, it’s going to be an innovative twist on the shooting genre.
In Doughlings: Invasion, which is the second game of the series, the story continues on from where it left off. Our shapeshifting hero Morpheus returns, arming himself to defend his people from alien invaders. He’s ready for battle with his five unique personas all ready to blast away any on-comers in gameplay that appears to be reminiscent of classic arcade shooters of yesteryear. Expect 15 different varieties of raving space invaders and five challenging bosses to be waiting in line to get shot to pieces. Throughout the game, you will no doubt develop novel battle strategies, acquire untold powers by modifying your DNA and make life miserable for those unwelcome space invaders with your dazzling Show Off powers – they really picked the wrong Doughling to mess with!
So get ready for an adventure that’s got an ever-increasing pace and tension to it, comic book style visuals and plenty of pop culture references when Doughlings: Invasion launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC in Spring 2019.
