Your new favourite rhythm game is here, and this one comes with a heavy dose of RPG. Are you eager to get down to the rhythm of the beats?
The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor looks like another rhythm-based game at first glance, but it’s when you realise that the shapes you are throwing are actually spells being cast to take down some of the biggest and baddest enemies the dance floor has ever seen, then you know this is something quite original.
The Metronomicon features local co-op to take down the baddies together, along with a number of game modes including Daily Challenges to keep you coming back for more. It also includes a fully-licensed soundtrack featuring some never before released music and the promise of new tracks being added, so it looks like this one will be dancing long into the early hours!
It’s available now on the Xbox Games Store and priced at £15.99, with two DLC packs you could grab too for £1.59 each. The Indie Game Challenge Pack 1 brings three extra tunes from some classic indie games, whilst the Chiptune Challenge Pack 1 includes three chiptune music tracks.
