Home Sheep Home provides some explosive fun

Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition is the latest creation to head onto consoles from Aardman.

You may have heard of Aardman, for they are the animation company behind the classics Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, Aardman’s family favourite TV series. Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition contains characters from the latter. It’s a remaster of previous versions of the game, with new gameplay, features and modes bought up to date for current generation consoles.

Play with friends or family

At its heart, Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition is a multiplayer, party-style game in the same genre as classics such as Overcooked!, suitable for players of all ages. In the co-op story mode, players will have to work together to solve challenges and help their ovine friends Shaun, Shirley and Timmy, find their way back to the green grass of home – Shaun’s home of Mossy Bottom Farm.

The game also promises a suite of action-packed, movie-themed party games with a visit to the Farmageddon theme park. You’ll get to compete with family and friends in a series of zany fairground games hosted by an alien named Lu-La who has crash-landed near the farm.

You would expect a game from a world-famous animation studio like Aardman to deliver world-class art style and Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition delivers on this promise with beautiful hand-painted visuals and spectacular environments. The sheep will go on an exciting journey from deep underground, to the streets of London and even into space.

“We’re so excited to be part of expanding the Home Sheep Home title to new platforms with Aardman & Mobile Pie.” commented Dean Day CEO of Greenlight Games. “We hope that the community continues to support the title so that we can bring more content down the road for our players.”

Game features

  • Let’s Ewe This! – Overcome fiendishly challenging puzzles by working as a flock with multiplayer features that’ll have players bleating at each other like overly excitable newly born lambs. Use each sheep’s unique abilities to solve challenges and shove, leap, squeeze and swim through underground tunnels, abandoned mineshafts – and even evade the guards at Buckingham Palace.
  • â–ªMultiplayer Baaa-tle – A suite of action-packed, Shaun the Sheep movie-themed party games bring some extra-terrestrial chaos to the farm with a visit to the Farmageddon theme park where you can compete with family and friends in a series of madcap fairground games hosted by Shaun’s new alien pal Lu-La, who has crash-landed near Mossy Bottom Farm.
  • â–ªLovingly Lamb-made animation – Brought to you by award-winning animation studio Aardman the game features a beautiful hand-painted and traditionally animated art style, spectacular environments and endearing character animation.
