If you’re one of those who jumped in at the deep end with Homefront: The Revolution then you may be interested to hear that the first single player content add-on is now available.
The Voice of Freedom is free to download for all those who are holders of the Homefront Expansion Pass, or can alternatively pick it up as a separate £4.99/£4.49 on PS4, Xbox One or PC.
The first piece of new single player content for Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios’ Philly based shooter, Voice of Freedom puts the player in the role of Benjamin Walker, a legendary figurehead for the rebellion and the KPA’s most wanted man. It is up to him to infiltrate Occupied Philadelphia and meet up with Jack Parish’s Resistance Cell as the tense, story-driven prologue tests the player’s stealth and combat skills as they encounter a sinister and hostile faction in the subways of Philadelphia – the ‘90’.
Now, whilst that is all well and good, you may remember that Homefront: The Revolution failed to really hit home upon its initial release. Thankfully, a new performance patch should have massively improved the overall experience, hopefully turning it into something well worth playing. We certainly hope so as our review pointed at numerous issues.
But hey, if you’ve got that Expansion Pass or just fancy giving Dambusters’ latest another shoot, go and fire it up immediately.
