It’s a big day for Game Pass subscribers as no less than four new games come to the service. One of those that may go a little under the radar though is Lapin – you really should be checking it out though.Â
Lapin is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, playable through Game Pass should you not wish to pay up the £13.24 asking price. It’s also making the most of Game Preview, allowing the development team at Studio Doodal the chance to continue working on new features and ideas, all whilst having it in the hands of the gamer.
A work in progress, Lapin is a 2D platformer, one that places you in control of a group of five rabbits. These little guys have a home that is hidden under the local park, but the go-ahead of a new construction forces them to search out new pastures. It’ll be up to you to help Liebe and her fluffy friends explore the world around them, hunting down a new home.
It promises to be a neat little adventure and the trailer and screens that are showing on the Xbox Store point to this being something of interest to many. Of course, with that Game Preview tag attached, there’s plenty for Studio Doodal to be going on with, but by getting involved yourself you can help them reach their ultimate goal.Â
Let us know in the comments if you decide to give Lapin a little look right now or if you’ll be holding off for the full release – whenever that may be. With Game Pass support or a Free Trial should you not subscribe, a free peek shouldn’t be ignored.Â
Game Description:
This game is a work in progress. It may or may not change over time or release as a final product. Purchase only if you are comfortable with the current state of the unfinished game. LAPIN is a 2D platformer game featuring a group of brave rabbit explorers. Five rabbits used to live under a park, but construction forced them to leave their beloved hole. Players need to help Liebe and her friends to explore the world with precise control. Hop on to the end of the adventure!
Really fun game preview! I don’t play games too often anymore, but decided to give this one a shot (not realizing it was a game preview). This game is a lot of fun and lets you try as many times to get through a section until you get it right. Fell in love with the story line and the game itself. I can’t wait until the full version is released on Xbox Game Pass!
