When Konami delivered the eFootball PES 2021 update across all formats back in September 2020, many fans were left disappointed that there wasn’t the usual annual update for their favourite football game. But credit where credit is due and those behind the game have continued to update the experience with multiple Data Packs and features. Today, just as players get ready for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2020 tournament, Data Pack 6.0 rolls out, alongside confirmation that Data Pack 7.0 will soon follow.Â
Available to download for free across all platforms that eFootball PES 2021 is available on, and yep, that includes the LITE variant and those on mobile, Data Pack 6.0 adds in new national team kits, updated players appearances and some official UEFA EURO 2020 goodies.Â
In all, you should expect to see the following present and correct in your game…
- Updated national team kits, including Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, Hungary, Sweden, Denmark and Romania
- Updated player appearances including France’s Antoine Griezmann, Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Scotland’s Liam Cooper, Denmark’s Joakim Maehle and Turkey’s Çağlar Söyüncü
- Official UEFA EURO 2020â„¢ referee kits
- Official UEFA EURO 2020â„¢ sleeve badges, including a champions badge for the current holder
Further to that though and Konami have promised that Data Pack 7.0 will soon follow, releasing towards the end of June to coincide with the real-world tournament moving into the Knockout Stage. It’ll be this free update which adds in fully updated national team squads, all based on the final 26 players chosen for each team, and the chance to increase that squad size from the original 23 to 26 players.Â
There are also a host of exciting eFootball PES 2021 campaigns promised surrounding the EURO tournament.Â
If you haven’t yet picked up the latest edition of PES, then you’ll find it available in eFootball PES 2021 Season Update form on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC through Steam. The free-to-play version – eFootball PES 2021 LITE – is also available, giving access to the online mode and some other content.Â
