A Three-Course Meal of an Adventure
Space Chef is a unique and ambitious title that blends three distinct genres into one zany, three-course meal of an adventure.
You start with the appetiser – the light survival RPG elements. This is where you get your ingredients, and they might not come quietly.
You’ll need to explore distant planets, derelict space stations, and even your own basement for plants, critters, and other tasty morsels. Along the way, you’ll come across space pirates, ancient ruins, and a suspiciously high number of recently abandoned restaurants.
From there, it’s all about the main course – being a restaurant manager. See, once your fridge is stocked with ingredients that have (mostly) stopped wriggling, it’s time to cook!
You’ll craft over 140 different dishes, from simple Beefle Skewers to the legendarily tricky Octoegg Surprise. As your reputation grows, you can even open up a sit-in restaurant. You’ll also need to set a stellar ambiance by taking complete control of your space-trailer’s interior, adding new floors, themed zones, and over 150 different furnishings.
And then we get to the dessert, and that means focusing on the zany life sim side of Space Chef. The citizens of the Horseshoe Nebula are more than just hungry bellies. You’ll get to know a zany cast of characters, including Zoe the scrap dealer, the faded Space Ace Jack Bronzon, and the definitely-not-alien barman Zlurka.
You’ll uncover unique recipes, side quests, and even romance. With your new-found friends, you’ll also uncover the truth about your missing grandma and take on the might of the evil Galactic Burger as they try to muscle in on your space-turf.
