Just like at one point every developer needed their own battle royale game, the trend now seems to be everyone wanting their own take on Monster Hunter. Step forward Wild Hearts from EA and KOEI TECMO, those responsible for Dynasty Warriors, Ninja Gaiden and FATAL FRAME: Maiden of Black Water to name but a few. And best of all, Wild Hearts is out today on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
Travel to the land of Azuma, based on a feudal Japan to learn about the Kemono. These larger than life monsters have started causing chaos and destruction to Azuma, seemingly infused by nature itself, and you are the only person who can stop them. Armed with ancient Karakuri technology, you can alter the landscape as you see fit to give you the upper hand in these ferocious battles.
Hunting monsters is always more fun with friends and Wild Hearts knows that, allowing you and two others to team up together to take down these beasts. Share your hard-earned loot together to create bigger and better weapons and armour.
Wild Hearts is on the Xbox Store now priced at £69.99 for the Standard Edition. If you want a little something extra, the Wild Hearts Karakuri Edition is also available for £89.99. This contains the Karakuri Upgrade which comes with the following:
- 2 x full cosmetic armor sets (Karakuri Samurai + Karakuri Ninja)
- Decorative Tsukumo Lantern
- 3 x Emotes (Fighting Spirit, Grovel, Conch)
