It comes from those at RedDeer.games (they previously behind the likes of Little Bug and Trash Quest), with release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch confirmed.
Gem Wizards Tactics will look to combine the usual tactical game formula with a host of new ideas; namely multiple combat mechanics, and randomly generated maps which should well make for many hours of single-player fun. The thing is, those battles aren’t just about taking down your foes – each and every one plays as a complex puzzle to solve.
It focuses on a corporation from hell, as something demonical rises from down below. You see, it’s pure evil in a suit – the Business Demons – and they are here to conquer whatever they can with their corporate hands. You follow the adventure of a young intern on an epic quest to find the truth about Omni-Gem, and with four nations, 26 unique units and special skills to use, Gem Wizards Tactics should well surprise you with the variety available. In fact, no matter whether you are looking to push your opponents off the edge of the board on the river you’ve just frozen, block their path with flames to line them up and finish them off with a piercing attack or combine them to dominate the opponent, it’s all pretty possible.
