immortals fenyx rising myths of the eastern realm

It is time to experience Chinese Mythology, Immortals style! Today sees the release of the second DLC for Immortals Fenyx Rising: Myths of the Eastern Realm will take us to the Land of the Rising Sun.

They should rename the game Immortals Ku Rising, as this time you play as Ku, a new hero for the series. Once again you will be helping the Gods restore peace to the lands.

Unlike the previous DLC – A New God – Myths of the Eastern Realm will play more akin to the main Immortals game. Fight mythical monsters, and solve unique puzzles using a host of new mechanics. However, rather than descending into the Vaults of Tartaros, you instead ascend to the new puzzle locations; ruined temples in the sky.

But players should still expect the high level of detail in the game world with gorgeous temples, pagodas and bamboo forests all begging to be explored.

A new battle mechanic known as God Seals will see Ku getting stronger as you progress. His Axe of Yan Di and Blades of Huang Di attacks have three levels of strength that will not only make them stronger, but faster at the same time. Bad guys of the Eastern Realm, you have officially been put on notice.

For Myths of the Eastern Realm on Xbox, you have a couple of options: The Season Pass priced at £32.99 will include this latest DLC, the previous one and an upcoming one known only as The Lost Gods. Or you can buy Myths of the Eastern Realm separately, priced at £11.99. You’ll find the game on the usual formats – Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC .

We will have a full review coming very soon so stay tuned for that. For now, let us know in the comments where next you would like Immortals Fenyx Rising explore.
