It’s long been known that whatever doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger – yet in Disc Room on Xbox and Game Pass, it’s that which does kill you which makes you harder than ever before.
Available right now to download from the Xbox Store – whether you pay up the £12.49 or utilise the free love via Game Pass is up to you – Disc Room from Devolver Digital has been put together as a collaboration effort from Kitty Calis, Jan Willem Nijman, Terri Vellmann and Doseone. It’s that foursome who have created something pretty interesting, pretty intriguing, pretty unique and pretty crazy.
It whisks us off to the year 2089, just as a giant disc has arrived, rocking up in the orbit of Jupiter. It’s up to you to utilise your scientific skills and hop into your finest space suit to try and work out exactly what is going on.
What this means is that as you step aboard the disc ship, you’ll find yourself working through the various rooms that it holds, attempting to complete whatever task is put in front of you. It’s a puzzling affair, but with the opportunity to harness the unique abilities you have, it should well be a fun one.
We’ll be running a review of Disc Room on Xbox very soon, letting you know how it plays on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. In the meantime, you can grab a download for yourself by visiting the Xbox Store.
Let us know in the comments as to whether you’ll be paying up for this one, or making the mosts of Game Pass.
