Modus Games are on a bit of a roll, and hot on the heels of the announcement that Cris Tales has got itself a release date, first details arrive of a new psychological horror planned for Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC – In Sound Mind.

Announced alongside a playable Steam demo, In Sound Mind comes from Modus Games and the development team at We Create Stuff, with a planned next-gen release in 2021. Before that though, those happy to run the Steam route, will find that a free demo is now available.

In Sound Mind is an eerie first-person horror experience that is poised to terrify Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and PC owners in 2021. The game will feature an original soundtrack by YouTube sensation, The Living Tombstone, as they get to discover its imaginative style of horror

Revealed on stage during the PC Gaming Show, In Sound Mind’s announcement trailer ushers horror fans into the deepest corners of their psyche, where reality blends with the impossible. Enter the bizarre memories of a therapist as you attempt to navigate the effects of an experimental chemical.

In Sound Mind confronts daunting recollections and dares players to escape the threats prowling within their own minds, solving inventive puzzles and battling haunting enemies in a search for answers across a collection of distinctive stories.

In Sound Mind will bring an exhilarating display of horror when it launches in early 2021 on Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC. For now though it’s time for the usual trailer. Give it a watch below and then let us know what you think. The comments section is right down below and we’d absolutely love to hear your thoughts about this new Xbox Series X and PS5 title, especially if you decide to spend time with the Steam trailer too.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
