Endoparasitic
Endoparasitic – out now on Xbox and Nintendo Switch

How are your multitasking skills under extreme pressure? Can you reload a gun one bullet at a time while a mutated monster is bearing down on you? You’ll get to find out in Endoparasitic.

A new tactical survival horror game that will test your abilities to their absolute limit has just crawled its way onto console. Endoparasitic, a new title from developer Deep Root Interactive, has launched to the world.

This unique challenge from publisher Pineapple Works is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch for ÂŁ8.39.

This is a game where you must manually do every single action, from reloading to moving, as you drag yourself through a secret research lab and fight to survive at all costs.

Manual Everything

What makes Endoparasitic so unique and challenging is its control scheme. You must manually do every single action. This means loading your guns one bullet at a time and physically dragging yourself to move. This forces you to juggle your movement and your firing, and to meticulously plan every room entrance to avoid getting swarmed.

To add to the terror, your health bar isn’t just a bar; it’s a visual representation of a parasite burrowing its way to your brain. This adds a constant sense of dread and urgency to your every move.

The story of Endoparasitic sees you trapped in a secret research lab on a remote asteroid. You must drag yourself through its dark corridors, fighting off horribly mutated monsters, injecting countless syringes of life-saving vaccines, and surviving a series of intense boss fights. The game also features stealth sections and puzzles to break up the intense combat.

From the Publishers of Legends of Amberland

Publisher Pineapple Works continues to bring a wide variety of unique and interesting indie titles to the Xbox platform.

The intense, modern survival horror of Endoparasitic offers a completely different experience to their recent release, the charming and classic 90s-style RPG Legends of Amberland II: The Song of Trees, showcasing their impressive genre diversity.

Your Survival Checklist

Here’s what you can expect from this new tactical survival horror game:

  • Unique “Manual Everything” Gameplay: Manually load every bullet and drag yourself to move.
  • A Terrifying Health System: Your health bar is a parasite burrowing to your brain.
  • A Gripping Sci-Fi Horror Story: Fight through a secret research lab on a remote asteroid.
  • A Mix of Gameplay: Includes stealth sections, puzzles, and intense boss fights.
  • Four Different Guns to Master.

A new and uniquely challenging nightmare has arrived. If you’re a fan of survival horror and are looking for a game that will truly test your ability to stay calm under pressure, Endoparasitic is waiting for you on the Xbox Store right now. You should be finding it on the Nintendo eShop too.

Stay tuned for our review.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
