Mixing anime, fast paced action and role-playing elements, Square Enix have today revealed the release date of Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai.
Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai will give players the chance to take in the story found in DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai. It promises to push new action role-playing ideas to the worlds of PC and console.
The adventures begin to play out
It’s coming to pretty much everything you would expect too, aside from Xbox One (you won’t be able to play this on the older Xbox consoles). That means it is due to release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
You’ll be able to play it when Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai drops on September 28th 2023.
Square Enix storytelling
Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai features two distinct ways for players to enjoy gameplay – Story Mode and the Temple of Recollection. While Story Mode delivers classic campaign progression, the Temple of Recollection allows players to delve into an evolving dungeon that changes with each play-through. Beat the monsters that dwell within for exciting rewards that will help you take down enemies that grow stronger the deeper you go.
Players can also collect and equip accessories known as Bond Memories, which augment the abilities and stats of the character they are equipped to. Additionally, each time a Bond Memory is unlocked, scenes from the original manga will be revealed. Bond Memories can also be further powered up by conquering the Temple of Recollection and it’s challenging ever-changing stages.
How to get involved?
You’ll find Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai releasing on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 28th 2023.
Pre-orders open today for those wishing to get their money in early. Do so and you’ll find that Dai’s Legendary Hero outfit and the Bond Memory ‘The Hero’s Tutor’ will be yours. £49.99 is enough to seal the deal on the Standard Edition from the Xbox Store.
There is a Digital Deluxe Edition of the game too. That will combine the base game with Popp’s special outfit “Legendary Mage”, Maam’s special outfits “Legendary Priest” and “Legendary Martial Artist”, as well as Hyunckel’s special outfits “Legendary Swordsman” and “Legendary Warrior”
Whilst you wait
While you wait for Infinity Strash to arrive, there are other DRAGON QUEST games you can play on Xbox. We very much adore both Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition (despite the stupidly long name). Dragon Quest Builders 2 is also well worth a play.
Make sure you take in the trailer to build the hype.
