It’s also capable of pushing out some 100W in one go, all thanks to one of the two USB-C ports that are found on its end. The other? Well, that runs at a ‘mere’ 45W. We’ve found both easily capable of handling charge to our MacBook (there’s that ‘laptop’ angle!), as well as our phones, and mobile gaming devices; ROG Ally X and Steam Deck. In fact, we’ve used the INIU Cougar to charge anything and everything over the course of the last few weeks, and it’s done so with aplomb. It comfortably kept our MacBook Pro topped up during an afternoon of work, whilst still having enough left to recharge a phone AND our ROG Ally X later in the day.

Smart Design Makes Everyday Use A Breeze
On the front of the INIU Cougar P63 Power Bank is a decently sized digital display screen that shows the current percentage of charge, flashing away as it drops down, or fills up. It’s a clear screen, easy to read, and does the job intended of it. It also fits in nicely with the overall black aesthetic that INIU are running with this one. A little button on the side of the unit can be clicked in should you need to know charge levels in an instant.
For us though, the Cougar P63 comes with a pretty killer USP – a short, double-ended USB-C cable that doesn’t only help charge devices, but also works as a handy carrying strap. Connecting together into a small plastic connector, it’s this cable that ensures you can charge devices whenever, and wherever you may be, without the need to carry further cables around with you. It’s a neat trick, and the loop ensures it is easy to drag the power bank around with you. Granted, it’s not a particularly long cable, coming in at just 0.3 metres in length, but we’ve found it to be near perfect for our charging needs. We’ve travelled with the INIU Cougar P63 100W High Capacity Laptop Power Bank in our back pocket for days on end, and have enjoyed having it come along for the ride.
Battery Life And Portability Strike A Great Balance
Of course, packing this much battery into such a compact shell comes with one compromise – weight.
