Is CyberHeroes Arena DX the best Vampire Survivors clone yet?

-

cyberheroes arena

A mecha-themed auto-battler which deals with roguelite elements, the latest Vampire Survivors clone is here. The main question sitting behind the release of CyberHeroes Arena DX though is a simple one – do you have the skills to survive? Oh, and is it really as good as the genre leader?

CyberHeroes Arena DX is the latest from the ever-prolific Ratalaika Games team, as they bring the creation of 9Ratones & RainForest Games to life – and this has more than a hint of Vampire Survivors about it; a game that we hit with the big 5/5 in review. It arrives on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S – fully optimised as per usual – PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam to give players the chance of building up their very own mech-warrior, before taking on the hordes of evil that await.

It’s priced at £4.99 with a launch discount dropping that down to £3.99 (again, standard Ratalaika Games fare) and gives you all the tools you need for the job in hand. Choosing and then creating your own robot fighter is the primary task, but from there, utilising the unique abilities and skills of each, in order to take down any opponents fast comes to the fore.

There are more than forty skills present too, joined by special effects and items to help ensure variety. You’ll need to use pretty much everything at your disposal too, if only so you can survive the onslaught and waves that commence.

The key features of CyberHeroes Arena on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC include:

  • * Automatic battle system.
  • * More than 40 skills. (Sky Cannon, Infected Rain, Tranquilizer Bomb, and much more)
  • * Special Effects Skills. (Stun, Burn, Slow, Poison)
  • * Over 100 items to create your build.
  • * Survive waves from 15 to 90 seconds.

CyberHeroes Arena DX is on the usual digital stores right this minute – the Xbox Store being the best place to pick up the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S edition of the game. Of course, should you prefer PlayStation, Nintendo Switch or PC, you should be equally sorted.

Our review of CyberHeroes Arena DX is upcoming. We don’t think this will be as good as Vampire Survivors, but we’re up for finding out for sure.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
