Isometric love letter to Dark Souls, Immortal Planet launches on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch

Immortal Planet has been kicking around the PC (Steam) scene for a good couple of years already, having first arrived back in 2017. And those who have played it have certainly liked what is in place, with hugely positive reviews put in place. Now though it’s time for the self-confessed isometric love letter to Dark Souls to arrive on console with a launch on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Available to purchase and download this very minute from the Xbox Store, the PlayStation Store and the Nintendo eShop, Immortal Planet will whisk you away to a forgotten planet, one covered by an icy surface, and placed into the boots of a lone Awakewalker – a guy who is attempting to find a way out of the icy hell, all whilst trying to remember their past, the the planet’s mysteries.

Priced up at £12.49 – with an initial launch discount in place for those who are quick off the mark – Immortal Planet on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch will see you working your way through a brutal isometric world, battling foes and attempting to take down intense bosses. With a multitude of items and spells in place, ensuring you find a playstyle to suit your good self is certainly doable here with Immortal Planet, and utilise some Souls-like progression opportunities will fast become par for the course.

Throw in some super tight level designs, a glorious art style, and a world of mystery, and this is one Dark Souls love letter that will appeal to many.
