Cyber Tank Nano
Cyber Tank Nano – out on Xbox and PC

The evolution of the block-pushing puzzler continues as a familiar miniature war machine rolls out with a host of new tricks in Cyber Tank Nano.

Cyber Tank Nano, the third entry in the Sokoban-inspired series, has launched today, June 26th, 2025, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

From developer Rapid Snail and publisher Xitilon, this mind-twisting challenge is available now, with prices starting at a budget-friendly £4.19.

A Familiar Tank, A Whole New Challenge

Prepare to face the collapse of a digital reality once more, this time with a staggering number of new mechanics designed to push your puzzle-solving skills to their absolute limit.

In Cyber Tank Nano, you are once again in command of a miniature tank, tasked with navigating a series of complex levels. The goal is simple: collect all 108 holographic cubes scattered across 36 mind-twisting stages and reach the exit. But getting there is a whole new level of challenge.

A Sokoban-Style Game on Steroids

This isn’t just about pushing blocks. Cyber Tank Nano dramatically expands the formula by adding a huge variety of mechanics that interact with each other in clever ways. You’ll need to master:

  • Shot reflections to hit distant targets and solve line-of-sight puzzles.
  • Destroyable ice and crumbling floors that permanently alter the map with every move.
  • Movable enemies that can be a hindrance or, for the truly clever, part of the solution.
  • Water hazards that can only be traversed by strategically pushing blocks into them to create makeshift bridges.
  • Teleports and conveyors that will test your spatial reasoning and planning skills to their breaking point.

The Cyber Tank Saga Continues

We’ve been following this series since the beginning. We first saw the arrival of the original Cyber Tank on Xbox as ‘a new take on standard Sokoban fun’. That was followed by Cyber Tank 2, which ‘rolls out on Xbox, a Sokoban-inspired shooter with a twist’.

Now, Cyber Tank Nano seems to be taking the puzzle elements to their most complex and intricate conclusion yet.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
