Videogames focusing on our favourite TV shows are nothing new, and that is certainly the case with the iconic SpongeBob Squarepants. Are you ready kids? I can’t hear you! Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob Squarepants – that’s who, and right now his latest adventure is up and running on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC as the collect-a-thon that is Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated goes live.
Priced up at £24.99, SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is a reworked, remastered, re-glorified version of the original game from back in 2003, as we once again meet up with SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy and more in a fun romp around Bikini Bottom. The reason? Well, other than just to go underpants bungee jumping, we’re here to save the land from the evil Plankton who are threatening to overruled the land. This time though, near on 20 years after first launch things are shinier, more controlled, highly polished and full of stunning content.
