It’s time to Destroy All Humans! on Xbox One, PS4 and PC

destroy all humans release xbox

If you can remember back to 2005, you may well fondly remember the original Destroy All Humans!. Released on OG Xbox and PS2 that summer, it became a bit of a cult classic, delivering multiple parodies. Now though THQ Nordic have remade that classic title, massively upgrading the visuals, completely recreating the experience in Unreal Engine 4, modernising the controls and adding a host of new content – including a special lost mission that was previously unreleased. Today you can play this revamped Destroy All Humans! as it releases in full on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Available right now to those who have pre-ordered the game, therefore gaining early access over the usual 28th July 2020 street date, Destroy All Humans! on Xbox One, PS4 and PC is a title that is going to appeal to a wide range of player; those who experienced it first time around, those looking for a new hit today, and those just after a good old laugh.

Priced at £34.99, Destroy All Humans! will see you whisked back to 1950’s Earth, as the alien invasion led by Crypto-137 attempts to take hold. In a twist from the norm though, you won’t find yourself playing as the puny human trying in vain to fight back against the evil forces, and instead will be taking up residence as Crypto himself. From there you should expect to do all the things that the most twisted of alien beings find appealing – harvesting DNA, taking down the government, destroying whole cities and killing off the entire human race. Oh, and you just so happen to get to mess around in a flying saucer too.

With humour galore running throughout this title, if you’re up for something fun to just jump in and play around with, Destroy All Humans! will provide it. Our review of Destroy All Humans! on Xbox One pretty much agrees with that statement too – detailing how it provides a glorious return of Crypto and some old school gaming.

Features include:

  • Experience the evil side of a 50’s alien invasion story
  • (Re)Discover why this game is considered one of the funniest ever created
  • Faithfully rebuilt from scratch in new galactic glory
  • Enjoy Crypto’s unique weaponry like the Anal Probe Gun
  • Pose as pathetic humans to infiltrate their fragile democracy
  • Use psychokinesis to send enemies flying or bombard them with random objects
  • Freely traverse explorable cities from 50’s America using your jetpack
  • Obliterate humanity’s primitive architecture with your flying saucer
  • Includes the restored, much-rumored, never before seen: Lost Mission of Area 42!

If you’re up for grabbing the pre-order version of Destroy All Humans! then you can be playing the game right now on Xbox One, PS4 or PC. Alternatively, hold tight till the 28th and you’ll find the standard version in place.

Other than that, there are a couple of stunning Collector’s Edition’s too – the DNA Collector’s Edition which we have unboxed in the video below, and the Crypto-137 Edition containing some stunning gear.

However you pick up Destroy All Humans! matters little though. Just let us know in the comments what you think of it all.
