delta squad xbox one

You may like to think of yourself as part of the Alpha gaming squad, or perhaps the B-Team when the time calls for it, but today, with Ratalaika Games’ latest console offering you’ll be found joining the Delta Squad, readying yourself to take down a new manic threat.

Priced up at ÂŁ5.99, and discounted to ÂŁ5.39 at launch, Delta Squad is the latest cheap and cheerful port to come from the Ratalaika camp, launching on Xbox One and PS4 right now, with a Nintendo Switch release just a few more days away – 1st November, if you’re asking.

Created by EskemaGames, Delta Squad follows on from the madness of FullBlast, to see a crack squad of fighters take on one General Rumanovsky, an evil overlord who has just a few manic tendencies. Whether you take the battle to the General alone, or with local friends via the 4-player cooperative modes matters little, for once inside you’ll discover a world full of 3D visuals, a lovely ambient soundtrack, and multiple missions, all spread out over 5 stages that are open to be played in any order you like. If you’re up for a new twin-sticking affair, this could well be one to enjoy.

Features include:

  • Gorgeous 3D graphics
  • 50 missions across 5 levels
  • Ambient soundtrack
  • Local co-op support for up to four players
  • The option to play any of the 5 levels you want for a quick gaming session

Tempted by the offer? We certainly are and after taking in all manner of cheap gaming experiences provided by Ratalaika Games over the months – the likes of One Night Stand and Himno are a couple of our most recent favourites – chances are this Delta Squad addition will also be one to take in.

Just pop over to your usual digital store of choice – whether that be the Xbox Store, the PlayStation Store, or the Nintendo eShop – and get a download rolling. Keep an eye out for our upcoming review of Delta Squad on Xbox One too, it’ll be sure to delve into the nitty gritty.

Game Description:

Just when you think the world is safe and it’s okay to take a break, a new threat emerges. Having already survived an alien invasion in FullBlast, the Delta Squad must now do battle against General Rumanovsky, a maniacal overlord who will stop at nothing to achieve global domination. To overcome every threat players will need to take full advantage of upgrading their skills in a bid to deal maximum damage.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
