Hitchhiker – A Mystery Game comes about through the publishing team of Versus Evil, and they with developmental ideas at Mad About Pandas. Sold as an interactive narrative adventure, Hitchhiker will see you working through five different scenarios, as you take in the most surreal of road trips.
Priced at £16.74, Hitchhiker will see you taking on the role of the titular hitchhiking character as you find yourself heading along a dusty old highway, unaware of who you are, where you are, or what the hell is going on. By grabbing clues you’ll slowly be able to piece together what is happening, working through environmental puzzles in the hope that you slowly become more aware.Â
Each of the five scenarios promises a new ride, new dialogue and a mix of drivers, each with their own unique… quirks. You’ll spend time chatting to a stoic farmer, a waitress out of work and more – with each and every one of them happy to form a story that twists, turns, ducks and dives forevermore.
