It may only be a few months since Assassin’s Creed Origins’ leap of faith onto Xbox One, PS4 and PC, delivering the story of how the Brotherhood was first formed, but today marks the day that the game receives its first DLC, coming in the form of The Hidden Ones.
Set four years after the events of the main game, you will be exploring a new region of Egypt – the Roman occupied Sinai. Bayek and buds will be attempting to expand upon the newly formed Assassin’s Brotherhood whilst battling against a powerful Roman force. To help Bayek out with this monumental challenge, four new legendary weapons can be attained, as well as some more new weapons and two new mounts to ride around Egypt on. All crafted gear will have two new levels with them, and all in all the level cap will be raised to 45 from the current 40, presumably to accommodate for all the legendary weapons and Roman killing you will be doing.
The Hidden Ones DLC is now available as a standalone purchase and is also a part of the Assassin’s Creed Origins season pass. The Hidden Ones is just the first of a wide range of purchasable and free content Ubisoft have planned: for further information click here.
