Just Cause 4: Los Demonios DLC detailed and dated!

Done with the base game and taken down the extra missions that have come about via the Dare Devils of Destruction add-on? Just Cause isn’t done yet and right now the next DLC addition has been detailed and dated – Los Demonios.

Just Cause 4 is already a bit manic, but the premier over-the-top sandbox experience is about to get even crazier with the release of Los Demonios. The question is… can you contain the outbreak before it’s too late?

Hitting Just Cause 4 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC from July 3rd 2019 – with Gold Edition owners getting 7 days early access on that – Los Demonios follows the events of when Rico & Javi investigate a newly discovered temple off the shore of Solis, just as an archaeologist working with the Black Hand unexpectedly releases an ancient demonic force from its imprisonment. This sees a parasitic infestation spreading across Solis, terrorising its inhabitants and attacking any Black Hand forces that stand in its way. It will be up to you, and Rico, to tackle the horrifying new threat, seeking out answers to eradicate the demon invasion from the island permanently, before it’s too late!

Los Demonios will see the open world of Just Cause 4 transform, as demonic hordes, pulsing tendrils and spore-filled clouds infest the towns and people of Solis in this exciting new supernatural addition. This will see you facing the demons across new missions that will require all the skills and tools at Rico’s disposal to emerge victorious, as vicious demons spit corrosive projectiles, possess soldiers, and even take over military vehicles and turn them against Rico.

This will all be seamlessly integrated into the whole Just Cause 4 experience with the new missions providing something of a return to the popular liberation gameplay that was found in the brilliant Just Cause 3. Throw in the fact that new weapons and equipment will be available to unlock, including the Demon Crossbow and Demon Egg Supply Drop, Los Demonios lets you take the new tools of destruction into the open-world sandbox of Just Cause 4 for explosive new action packed moments of glorious mayhem.

“Los Demonios is the second DLC pack in the ‘Dare Devils, Demons and Danger’ Expansion Pass, and it brings a totally new experience to JUST CAUSE 4,” said Bryan Rodriguez, Creative Producer at Avalanche Studios. “For the first time, Rico is tangling with an otherwordly threat that will push him to his limits. This is our chance to see if Rico is as good at squashing demons as he is at toppling dictators!””

But that’s not the only Just Cause 4 news and with the new patch rolling out as part of the Spring Update you will find the game vastly improved since that of the launch product. Improved graphical elements across the board on all formats, as well as gameplay tweaks for a smoother player experience, are in place, as the patch completely changes the world lighting, improving the way light interacts with the environment and bringing considerable visual upgrades to the sandbox world. In addition to this, it also includes destructible statues & train bridges, new chaos objects to destroy in the open world, more ammo and a dialled-up ‘heat’ system that will have the Black Hand challenging Rico like never before.

If you’ve held back from dropping into Just Cause 4 so far then the Spring Update and promise of the Los Demonios DLC may well be enough to see you change your mind.
