The living room is about to become the main stage once again. Ubisoft has officially announced Just Dance 2026 Edition, the next instalment in the beloved music video game franchise.
The ultimate party starter is set to launch on October 14th, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch consoles.
Another Year on the Dance Floor
Featuring 40 hot new tracks, from chart-topping hits to timeless classics, this new edition promises to turn your home into a dance floor where family and friends can gather for the best time.
The Just Dance series has been a consistent source of joy and a staple of party nights for years. We were huge fans of the last entry, giving Just Dance 2025 Edition a 4.5/5 score in our review. We praised it for keeping “the fun alive and well on the dance floor” and for continuing the “franchise’s tradition of bringing people together through dance.“
In that review, we also noted the introduction of the beta version of Camera Controller Mode and wondered, “I guess we’ll see if it returns in Just Dance 2026.” Well, we now have our answer.
The New Tracklist
As always, the heart of the game is its new collection of 40 exciting songs. While the full list is still under wraps, Ubisoft has revealed a first taste of the eclectic mix on offer:

New Ways to Play and Compete
Alongside the fresh tracklist, Just Dance 2026 brings back and refines some exciting gameplay options.
- Party Mode – This mode allows players to team up and cooperate in an unpredictable dance showdown, perfect for getting everyone involved.
- Camera Controller Mode – Answering our question from last year, the Camera Controller Mode is officially back. Using the Just Dance Controller app, you can turn your phone’s camera into a full-body motion recognition tool. This allows for hands-free solo experiences and gives you the chance to reach higher levels of precision while you dance.
- Challenge Mode – For the most competitive dancers, you can prove who has the best moves in Challenge Mode, and local multiplayer is also available for up to six players on the same console.
Keeping the Party Going
Just Dance 2026 Edition continues to build on the series’ connected ecosystem. Players who own all Just Dance editions from 2023 onwards will have all their content and tracks displayed together in one library, making it easier than ever to keep the party going with a massive playlist.
Furthermore, every copy of Just Dance 2026 Edition will come with a one-month free trial of Just Dance+, the subscription-based streaming service that offers access to an even larger catalogue of songs.
