Pro Wrestler Story – one of two new Kairosoft additions

Not every management sim needs to be about sprawling cities or complex economies. Sometimes, it’s about something a little more focused, a little more personal… like building a wrestling empire or turning a local ice rink into the hottest spot in town.

That’s exactly what Pro Wrestling Story and Skating Rink Story bring to Xbox, PC and Play Anywhere.

Both titles arrive priced at £11.74, continuing Kairosoft’s familiar formula of charming visuals, accessible systems and surprisingly deep management loops.

Two Very Different Dreams To Build

While both games share Kairosoft’s signature style, they take things in very different directions.

Skating Rink Story is all about calm progression and creativity. You’re building up an ice rink from the ground up, making sure customers are happy both on and off the ice. That means maintaining the rink itself, training staff and skaters, and adding little touches like heated rest areas or food options to keep visitors coming back.

Pro Wrestling Story, on the other hand, focuses on energy and spectacle – as you would expect from a wrestling game. Here, you’re managing a wrestling team, training your fighters, expanding your gym and guiding them toward championship glory. It’s about balancing preparation with performance, making sure your roster is ready to put on a show when it matters most.

Building, Expanding And Experimenting

Each game offers its own take on progression.

In Skating Rink Story, you’ll experiment with layouts, discover new food combinations and train skaters to compete in events, all while growing your reputation and attracting more visitors.

In Pro Wrestling Story, it’s about developing your roster and facilities. You’ll add training equipment, recruit new talent and even expand your gym with side attractions to bring in extra revenue. As your popularity grows, so too does the scale of your matches, including tag team bouts that open up new strategies.

Both games reward careful planning, but they never feel overwhelming.

Easy To Pick Up, Hard To Put Down

That’s always been Kairosoft’s strength. These are games you can dip into for a short session or lose hours to without realising it. There’s always something to tweak, something to unlock or some small improvement to chase.

And with both titles launching together, there’s a nice contrast between the relaxed pace of the rink and the more energetic push of the wrestling world.

Two New Additions Worth Checking Out

Whether you prefer the quieter satisfaction of building a welcoming space or the louder thrill of managing a team in the spotlight, Pro Wrestling Story and Skating Rink Story offer two distinct takes on the same core idea.

For fans of Kairosoft, it’s more of what works. For newcomers, it’s an easy way to see why these games continue to find an audience.
