Nearly four years since release, four season passes and 27 additional characters released so far, it is fair to say that Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is a bit of a beast. And, we have news of a 28th character arriving today. Available now to download is the much fan-requested Kawaki for Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
Kawaki comes with much of the usual content that those who have purchased additional characters before will be familiar with. As well as the new character there will also be three Ninjutsu that may include some spoilers for the anime. Karma Linchpin (Strange Taste), Scientific Ninja Tool “Imperial Wrath”, Emergency Exit (Substitution Jutsu) and Secret Technique: Karma Linchpin (Ritual Destruction) will all be included.
This new DLC doesn’t just bring stuff for Kawaki alone. His piercings can now be applied to both male and female avatars. And you can even apply his face to your character. That last part is a bit weird but at least the option is there.
Finally, there will be new items: Scientific Ninja Tool “Carapace”, Scientific Ninja Tools: “Scale Fragment” and a new Honorary Title: Vessel. I am sure these words will mean a lot more to those who have played the game and I hope I haven’t butchered them too much. I am just the messenger here!
As always though, new masters can be set by heading to Hidden Leaf Village and then into the Ninjutsu Libraray.
Kawaki is available to download now from the Xbox Store priced at £3.49. However, he is also included in Season Pass 4 for Naturo to Boruto: Shinobi striker, and this is priced at £11.99 and includes another four characters. Once you have downloaded this content, you can set a new master by going to Hidden Leaf Village in the online lobby followed by the Ninjutsu Library. A special training pack for your avatar! As you train with Kawaki, you will acquire Training Points that can be used to unlock a wide variety of Ninjutsu and costumes for your avatar!
