Keep away from those Radioactive Dwarfs: Evil From the Sewers

Radioactive Dwarfs: Evil From the Sewers Xbox

At first glance this looks like a re-release for some sort of cult videogame from the 1980s. But it isn’t, it is a brand-new release that really captures the essence of that era. Find out how well it plays today as Radioactive Dwarfs: Evil From the Sewers releases today on Xbox and PlayStation.

People have been mysteriously disappearing during the evenings under strange circumstances. The newspapers are blaming a society of underground dwarfs for the kidnappings, but that can’t be true. Can it?

But when the heroines brother goes missing, she takes things into her own hands and delves into the sewers to confront those at fault.

Radioactive Dwarfs: Evil From the Sewers is a top-down shooter very reminiscent of early NES games and even before. Unlike the dwarves that venture up into space in We Are The Dwarves, these ones are more concerned with hiding underground. Features include:

  • A new retro-style adventure game that will definitely challenge you!
  • Unique graphics and sounds!
  • A lot of enemies and items!
  • Improvements to your weapons and abilities!
  • More than 20 unique levels (new elements appear in each level), 2 types of bonus levels (dangerous and safe).
  • Secret levels, teleports through levels, secrets and Easter eggs!
  • 8-bit music soundtrack!
  • A story with colorful cut scenes and a Boss at the end!
  • The game supports achievements!

Featuring old-school graphics, CRT filters and a chiptune soundtrack, this is definitely a throwback: Radioactive Dwarfs: Evil From the Sewers is available to download on the Xbox Store now priced at £4.19. If we manage to escape from these creepy dwarfs and find out way out, we shall bring you a review very soon.

Game description

Old-timers just keep saying that they don’t do old-school action games anymore like they used to. Well, that’s not totally true — Radioactive Dwarfs is an epic example of the fact that these games are still alive and kicking! Right from the box you’ll get top-down retro-action with a thrilling story of mutated dwarfs that kidnap, kill and eat people. Our heroine has decided to stop the dwarf threat on her own. She’ll venture deep down and below to find every dwarf and shoot it with her trusty gun. Grenades will come in handy as well. We can assure you that this game is a blast for every person who likes retro games, and always in a mood for some jokes with B-movie flavor.
