Keep on clicking with Lord of the Click III on Xbox

It seems as though ChiliDog Interactive get busy in November, having released the original Lord of the Click to the Xbox world in November 2020. That was followed in November 2021 by Lord of the Click II. And now we’re in November 2022 and guess what that means? Yep, it’s time to keep on clicking with Lord of the Click III.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Lord of the Click III from HugePixel and ChiliDog Interactive is the third in the series of Lord of the Click titles.

Taking what was honed to near perfection in Clicker Heroes, the sole task of the player in this one is to click, click and click some more. Whether you think that’s worthy of your time is up for debate, but there’s no denying that the clicking can become pretty addictive.

The Lord of the Click franchise hasn’t ever hit those Clicker Heroes heights though. The first game was just not worth the clicks, only really good for the easy 1000 Xbox Gamerscore that was on offer. Lord of the Click II didn’t fare much better, even if our review did highlight the addictive nature and the well worked structure creation.

Lord of the Click III will no doubt be looking to push on further and with release on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S for a mere £4.19, there’s a chance it’ll be of temptation to many – no more so us, so stick around for a full review soon.

But what will you find when you purchase and play Lord of the Click III? Well, the chance to click we guess, as the teams behind it look to conclude the narrative which played out in the first two games. Again it focuses on Clicker General, but this time around we’re getting new features and ways to summon units, given the chance to enjoy plenty of upgrades and to take in some new visuals.

Ultimately though, if you have played Lord of the Click I or Lord of the Click II, you’ll know what to expect in Lord of the Click III.

You’ll find Lord of the Click III clicking around on the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Game Description:

Let’s do it thrice! Hell yeah! As you might have already guessed, it’s the third coming of the legendary Lord of the Click series — and now it’s a trilogy. Is there anything more to add? But of course! LotC 3 concludes the epic story of our Clicker General who wages war against all enemies of the peaceful and prosperous kingdom! Kazakh game developer improved the game’s formula with a solid amount of new features: new way to summon units, plenty of meaningful upgrades and updated visuals so you can enjoy the pastoral cartoonish landscapes with fierce battles raging on. You know you want to experience Lord of the Click once more with all these shiny new additions! Go ahead, try out this game now!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
