A world transformed! KENTUM is coming to Xbox, PlayStation and PC in 2025.

From Tlön Industries, the creative minds behind the acclaimed terraforming game Per Aspera, comes their latest project: KENTUM, a 2D side-scrolling base-building survival game with a unique sci-fi twist.

Announced at the Latin American Games Showcase during The Game Awards, KENTUM is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2025.

7,000 Years Later…

Imagine waking up from a 7,000-year slumber to find yourself the last human on Earth.

That’s the premise of KENTUM, where you play as a lone survivor navigating a post-post-apocalyptic world filled with unfamiliar landscapes, evolved creatures, and the remnants of a forgotten civilisation.

Build Your Sanctuary, Explore the Unknown

In this desolate future, survival is paramount. You’ll need to scavenge for resources, craft essential tools, and build a self-sustaining habitat to withstand the challenges of this new world. But KENTUM is more than just survival; it’s about exploration and discovery.

Venture into dynamic environments, from trash mountains to desolate ruins, and uncover the secrets of a world reshaped by time and evolution.

Features That Will Make You Yearn for the Future

  • Base Building: Construct and customise your own habitat, utilizing advanced technology to create a self-regulating and personalised living space.
  • Resource Management: Gather resources, craft tools and machinery, and manage your supplies to survive in the harsh environment.
  • Exploration: Explore a vast and ever-changing world with diverse biomes, from lush forests to barren wastelands.
  • Survival Challenges: Overcome environmental hazards like extreme weather, low gravity, and dangerous predators.
  • Automation: Build automated systems to streamline your resource gathering and production, creating a self-sufficient base of operations.
  • Customisation: Personalise your habitat with decorative elements and create a unique and comfortable living space.

A Unique Blend of Genres

KENTUM offers a compelling blend of base-building, survival, and exploration, creating a unique and engaging experience.

With its focus on resource management, technological advancement, and environmental adaptation, this game is sure to appeal to fans of both simulation and survival genres.

Developer Quote

With KENTUM we wanted to find that sweet spot between relaxing base-building, where you’re customizing and optimizing your abode in real-time, with more dangerous survival expeditions, where you must venture out into the wild to collect resources,” said Roque Rey, game director at Tlön Industries. “The end result is something that juggles creative construction, action, exploration, and cosmetic customization into a cohesive sci-fi story about making the best of a bad situation. We think fans of various genres will find something to like in KENTUM when it launches next year!

A Post-Apocalyptic Adventure Awaits

KENTUM is set to release in 2025 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. When it drops, you’ll get the chance to awaken in a world transformed, building a sanctuary, and exploring the mysteries of a forgotten Earth…

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
