Keylocker – a rhythm JRPG!

Keylocker, a Cyberpunk turn-based rhythm JRPG, has officially launched today on Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation.

Set in a future dystopian world where music is outlawed, players take on the role of B0B0, a rebellious singer with the power to change fate through her electrifying tunes. Another pixelated JRPG from developers Moonana, Keylocker offers a thrilling journey filled with rhythm-based combat, deep storytelling and musical rebellion.

Turn-based combat with a rhythmic twist

Set in the distant future on the planet Saturn, Keylocker takes place 141 years after music was banned. Players step into the shoes of B0B0, a Doppelganger born into the lowest caste of society, who rejects her fate and leads a rebellion.

Alongside her band of outcasts, she sets out to defy the Saturnian Satellites – oppressive overlords – and unravel the mysteries behind the Keylocker, the essence of music itself.

What sets Keylocker apart from traditional JRPGs is its innovative blend of turn-based combat and rhythm mechanics.

Players will execute attacks, defences and special abilities by timing their moves to the beat of the game’s electrifying soundtrack. The game’s rhythm mechanics are integrated seamlessly with its strategic combat and will keep players on their toes as they battle foes and navigate the dangerous landscape of Saturn.

Key features of Keylocker
