If you’ve been waiting patiently for the second chapter of the rather brilliant King’s Quest, then your wait need go on no further. It’s here!

After a great start, King’s Quest continues with Chapter 2 – Rubble Without A Cause. You can pick it up right now as a digital download on Xbox One or Xbox 360 for £7.99. Obviously you’ll have to have played Chapter 1 first, but we will trust that you’ve already done that. If you haven’t, check out our review right here and then get buying it.

Alternatively, you can grab the Complete Collection, bringing together five chapters, all of which will unlock as and when the time comes. If the series continues at the rate of the first chapter, then the £31.99 you’ll be paying will seem like a steal.

Game Description:

If you already own King’s Quest: The Complete Collection or Season Pass, DO NOT repurchase this content here or you will be charged again. Please download new chapters from within the game. King’s Quest – Chapter 1: A Knight to Remember is required to play this content & is sold separately. King’s Quest – Rubble Without A Cause is the second of five chapters in the new, critically acclaimed reimagining of the classic King’s Quest game series. In this latest adventure, King Graham takes players back to his first test as ruler of Daventry. When a mischievous horde of goblins takes his kingdom hostage, a newly crowned & woefully unprepared Graham must rise up to free his people & prove himself the leader he was destined to become. Will Graham & his friends unearth a way to escape their rock-brained captors? Will he take for granite everything he learned as an adventurer? Does he have the stones to reclaim his mantle & lead his kingdom to safety? Will the hat make it out ok? It’s time to tell your story.

Head on over to the Xbox Games Store and get cracking.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
