Kitty-fuelled block pushing comes to Xbox with Sokocat – Combo

Block pushing never gets old, which is why QUByte Interactive feel there is a place in the gaming world for Sokocat – Combo. We mean, block pushing AND kitty cats? What more could you want in life!?

Dodgy name aside, Sokocat – Combo is the latest Sokoban styled game in which you are requested with pushing blocks around puzzling areas. The twist with this one? Well, those blocks are being played around with by a cute little cat. Yep, we’ve had rabbits pushing blocks in SokoBunny, and now it’s their feline friends.

Priced at a mere £3.29, Sokocat – Combo isn’t just one game though. Again, the name of the title suggests more and the combo element comes in as QUByte and the creative team at Moraes Games Studio actually releases two games under the one banner. Yep, Sokocat – Combo includes the puzzles found in Sokocat Islands and similar tests of the mind that were first developed in Sokocat Dungeon.

With different themes but similar vibes – Islands whisking us off to a tropical land, Dungeons sending us deep below the surface – we’re pretty sure you won’t be bored of the fun little tests included in Sokocat – Combo.

We’ll get on the review and let you know how Sokocat – Combo plays on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S very soon.

In the meantime, pick it up for yourself by visiting the Xbox Store

Game Description:

Sokocat – Combo, brings two games from the series, Sokocat Islands and Sokocat Dungeon, a puzzle game that requires the player to push stone blocks to the correct position to reach the end of the level. Sokocat Islands brings a tropical themed adventure; solve minimalist puzzles while listening to the sea and a relaxing soundtrack. Sokocat Dungeon, in the other hand, brings a mysterious adventure, Kitten Jone (the cat) now has to find artifacts in the dungeons of a castle. Enjoy the Islands, avoid the traps in the Dungeon and keep pushing the blocks to the right spot to succeed. Hope this cat has 9 lives.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
