Klang 2 dropping the hypnotic beats to Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and more later this year

Klang 2 was one of the standout entries in the ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo list that allowed players the chance to get hands-on with some super exciting experiences ahead of time last summer. At the time it was due to drop on to current gen systems, but all that is changing and today Klang 2 is now also confirmed for launch on next-gen with Xbox Series X|S and PS5 versions in Q3 2021.

Due to drop the hypnotic EDM beats to Xbox Series X|S and PS5, alongside the previously confirmed Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC variants, Klang 2 will see you striking hard and hitting fast, taking on all-comers with a mighty tuneblade.

Working in time with the rhythm you’ll need to anticipate and sense when to strike in Klang 2 as you head into the crystal caves and ice-cream deserts, fighting back against all within. With 30 handcrafted stages in place, each with semi-procedural elements, you’ll be left to fight to the beat, taking on powerful bosses in the process.

Klang 2 promises to deliver plenty of style and swazz when it drops on to all formats in Q3 2021, and when you consider it’ll also allow for the unlocking of faster song versions – all of which will be perfected no matter whether you are playing with controller, mouse and keyboard or touch controls – if you’re in the market for a new rhythm based affair, it’s looking likely to sort.

Pound that trailer below to receive insight into how things will play out on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC when Klang 2 arrives – and when that release date is confirmed, we’ll be sure to bring you it.

Will you be looking to become a rhythm master when the game finally drops? Have Ratalaika Games and the one man indie studio at Tinimations nailed what you need from a game? As always, let us know all your thoughts and comments right down below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
