Konami have today announced a number of new Yu-Gi-Oh! games will release throughout 2016. Odds are it’ll be coming to our favourite console too.

The popular card game that has already been hit with a range of console titles will be expanding as it hits its 20th year milestone. Konami have confirmed that we’ll be seeing Yu-Gi-Oh! on a larger range of devices inlcuding console. We’d be very surprised if Xbox One wasn’t one of those.

In the Spring of 2016, a new mobile game – Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links – will be released, followed by a new game for 3DS in the summer. There will also be a new online game for consoles and PCs dropping in the winter while the popular console game Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist and mobile game Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation will both receive receive major updates.

  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links – Mobile game (iOS/Android) – Spring 2016
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! for Nintendo 3DS (working title) – Console game – Summer 2016
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Online Game (working title) – Console/PC game – Winter 2016

We will of course keep you updated as to the state of play. C’mon Konami, Xbox One is sitting here ready for a bit of Yu-Gi-Oh! action! The old 360 wouldn’t mind a bit of love either.

The 3DS is getting a game but not Vita, which sucks as we haven’t even gotten the last two Tag Force games for PSP. As Jim Fucking Sterling would say…Fuck Konami!
