A Continent of Footballing Passion

Football in Africa has seen explosive growth in popularity in recent years, with national and club teams gathering immense support. CAF, the governing body for 56 member countries and regions, organises some of the most exciting tournaments in the world, including the prestigious Africa Cup of Nations. You know, THAT AFCON which is fast approaching over the horizon.

Recognising this, Konami has moved to secure this new licensing agreement, ensuring that eFootball reflects the global nature of the sport. The partnership aims to deliver the unique atmosphere and intensity of African football to a global audience, offering a fresh experience for players.

Véron Mosengo-Omba, General Secretary of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) adds: “The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 will be one of the most exciting and widely followed editions of our flagship competition. Our partnership with KONAMI reflects CAF’s commitment to innovation, global fan engagement, and creating new opportunities for African youth in both football and digital spaces.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
