Lake Williams enhances your Fishing Sim World catches

When Dovetail Games released Fishing Sim World on to consoles a few short months back, they promised the world – bigger fish, bigger lakes, more realism and the most authentic fishing experience yet. For the most part, they nailed it too – but now the opportunities to reel in more fish have expanded with the release of the new Lake Williams DLC.

Available right now for Fishing Sim World players to get their greasy mitts on, the Lake Williams content sees us heading off to sunny California to take in some fishing goodness whilst surrounded by glorious hills.

With no less than 7 different species of fish included in the 2000 acres of lake, including the Spotted Bass and Bluegill which haven’t yet been see in Fishing Sim World waters, there is surely not a fisherman out there who can’t be tempted by the chance to sit lakeside and try their arm.

Priced up at ÂŁ8.99, this cheap California holiday will ensure that your time with Fishing Sim World continues to go from strength to strength, pushing forward the ideals that the base game dropped home, and letting you test your skills out even further.

But should you want even more than that, and are in to the fishing game long term, then an additional content pack is also available. The Quad Lake Pass does as it says on the tin, delivering the keys to Lake Williams right now, and then also affording access to three more lakes further down the line; Jezioro Bestii in Poland, Gigantica Road Lake and Tennessee’s Lake. The ÂŁ29.99 price basically sees you able to get these lakes at a ‘4 for the price of 3’ too, and is surely the way to go for anyone keen on landing some big hitters in the months ahead.

Should you wish to grab either the Lake Williams content, or that of the Quad Lake Pass, then hit up the Xbox Store on the links below. Those on other formats will need to pay a visit to their own digital home.

Lake Williams DLC Description:

Located in California, Lake Williams is surrounded by a stunning backdrop of dry arid land and forest-covered steep hills. Two clusters of rocky islands at either end of the lake are great holding spots for its inhabitants, but changes in depth in open water shouldn’t be ignored. Lake Williams features seven different species of fish including two new species: Spotted Bass and Bluegill. Key features include: – Over 2000 acres of lake to explore with tens of thousands of fish present – Authentic Californian venue with rocky islands to target fish – Seven species of fish including trophy-sized Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass – Two new species to catch – Spotted Bass and Bluegill

Quad Lake Pass Description:

The Quad Lake Pass grants access to the next 4 lake add-ons upon their release. Lake Williams, set in California and surrounded by a backdrop of dry arid land and forest-covered steep hills, is home to 7 species of fish including largemouth & smallmouth bass. Jezioro Bestii in Poland is all about the huge predator fish found in its rich natural environment. This lake is home to huge northern pike, perch & zander. Lake Arnold in Tennessee provides a range of fishing opportunities. This lush environment with submerged vegetation contains 10 species of fish including spotted bass & walleye. The fully-licensed Gigantica Road Lake is fast catching up the Gigantica Main Lake for the size of the carp that reside there, but features a much higher stock level. Four fantastic venues, one great price! Requires Fishing Sim World core game, sold separately.
