The Game Pass rotation continues, and unfortunately, that means waving goodbye to another batch of excellent titles at the end of the month.
Several games are set to depart the Xbox Game Pass library on March 31st 2025, so consider this your final boarding call to play them before they vanish from the service (or grab them with a discount!).
This month sees a significant exodus, particularly for fans of Japanese crime sagas and monster slaying. If any of the games below are on your backlog, you’ve only got limited time left to dive in via your subscription.
Leaving Game Pass on March 31st
Here’s the full list of titles departing soon, along with the platforms they’re leaving on:
- MLB The Show 24 (Cloud and Console) – Step up to the plate one last time.
- Lil Gator Game (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Embark on a charming, bite-sized adventure.
- Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Get your final laps in with these die-cast racers.
- Open Roads (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Uncover family secrets on a final road trip.
- Yakuza 0 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Experience the glitz and grit of 80s Japan.
- Yakuza Kiwami (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Relive the remake of the original Yakuza.
- Yakuza Kiwami 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Continue Kiryu’s saga in this stunning remake.
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Join Ichiban Kasuga in this turn-based RPG entry.
- The Lamplighter’s League (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Lead a team of misfits in this turn-based strategy adventure.
- Monster Hunter Rise (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Embark on one last hunt against fearsome beasts.
Spotlight: Don’t Miss These Departures!
While every game leaving is a loss, a few stand out for us, and these are the ones we’ll probably miss the most:
- The Great Yakuza Migration: A huge chunk of Kiryu and Ichiban’s adventures are leaving the service simultaneously (0, Kiwami, Kiwami 2, Like a Dragon). If you were planning a series playthrough via Game Pass, now is the time for a serious gaming session!
- The Hunt Concludes: Capcom‘s massive action RPG, Monster Hunter Rise, is a significant departure. Its addictive loop of hunting huge monsters and crafting gear will be missed.
- Heading for the Dugout: MLB The Show 24, a staple for baseball fans on Game Pass, is also leaving the lineup.
- Short Stays: Both Open Roads and The Lamplighter’s League feel like relatively recent additions, making their exit a little surprising. Catch them while you can.
Time is Running Out
You have until March 31st to play these games through your Xbox Game Pass subscription. In a few words, prioritise anything you’ve been meaning to start or finish from the list above.
Don’t forget, as a Game Pass subscriber, you typically get a 20% discount if you want to purchase any of these games to keep them in your library permanently. If you’ve fallen in love with Kamurocho or can’t get enough monster hunting, now might be the time to buy before they leave the service discount behind.
It’s always sad to see games go, but the Game Pass library is constantly evolving. Make sure you don’t miss out on these fantastic titles before they depart at the end of March. As always, let us know which games you’ll miss the most.
