Is there any stopping the LEGO juggernaut? We don’t think so, and if we’re honest, we want to see it continue rolling on forevermore. And that’s exactly what will be happening this September as LEGO Brawls drops some serious minifigure mayhem to Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC.
A brick-based brawler that takes the LEGO universe in directions it’s never previously seen, LEGO Brawls will be smashing out onto Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam come September 2nd 2022.
There are many LEGO titles that players can enjoy, from the delicate delights of LEGO Builder’s Journey, to the opposite end of the spectrum and the Star Wars silliness of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. LEGO Brawls will be different though.
A first for the genre, LEGO Brawls will have players building and competing with their minifigs, customising them and creating load-outs that will fit their preference and playstyle. From there, it’s all about going up against others to work the competitive gameplay strategies and lighthearted fun that the LEGO brand is known for. You’ll get the chance to unlock minifigures, power-ups, and emotes as you play through fan-favorite LEGO themes and tussle your way to the top of the global leaderboard.
A game that is being developed and published in partnership with Red Games Co. and distributed in physical format for consoles by Bandai Namco, LEGO Brawls has a range of multiplayer modes, unique challenges, and win conditions, all as players team up and brawl 4v4, party with friends, or play a game mode where it’s every minifigure for themself.
“With LEGO Brawls we really showcase the possibilities of LEGO games. The game is packed with LEGO fun, with it’s family-friendly gameplay and awesome minifigure customisation. We can’t wait for LEGO fans of all ages to build their minifigure hero and begin their action-packed adventures in LEGO Brawls,” said Murray Andrews, Head of Publishing, LEGO Games.
“LEGO Brawls was built on the concept that anyone, anywhere, can be a champion through a rare combination of self-expression, team collaboration, and spunk,” said Brian Lovell, CEO of Red Games Co. “We’re thrilled that the game will enable friends, families, and fellow LEGO fans near and far to connect and compete through fun, friendly brick battles.”
We’ll be sure to remind you when that September 2nd 2022 launch of LEGO Brawls occurs on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
