There is a severe lack of decent/any boxing games on the latest generation of consoles, but as we prepare for the move to the next gen with Xbox Series X and PS5, those at Survios and MGM are looking to right the wrongs of the last few years. Yep, there’s a boxing game on the horizon and Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions is getting ready to rumble onto Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Due to arrive on console and PC in Spring 2021, Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions is an all-new arcade boxing game that looks to follow on from the critical success of 2018’s Creed: Rise to Glory; a game which features legendary characters from MGM’s classic Creed and Rocky film franchises for virtual reality.

This time around it’s the standard console market the Survios and MGM teams at looking to nail and for the first time, the game brings the gripping intensity of Creed boxing to console and PC platforms. Featuring a legendary roster of characters, such as the titular lead Adonis Creed, Rocky Balboa, Ivan & Victor Drago, Clubber Lang, and more, you’ll be given the chance to square up against the best fighters in the world across a heart-pounding arcade mode.

Expect to experience unique stories and unlock rewards, but also be prepared to go shoulder-to-shoulder against friends in local competitive multiplayer, experience iconic Rocky training montages through a series of extraordinary minigames, and undergo a training mode designed to build up one’s legendary status.

Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions promises to offer intuitive, pick-up-and-play controls and robust hard-hitting boxing mechanics that are easy to learn and hard to master, providing everyone a fighting chance to become a champion. Basically, if you’ve been crying out for a boxing game like we have – and Pato Box hasn’t scratched the itch – then this is the game for you.

“Bringing classic arcade boxing to even more players worldwide, Survios is delighted to extend its partnership with MGM, creating another knockout game in the Creed franchise,” said Seth Gerson, Survios’s Chief Executive Officer. “Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions will answer consumer demand for intense boxing games on traditional platforms while breaking new ground in game development.”

“MGM’s Rocky and Creed franchises continue to resonate with audiences today because they represent universally relatable themes of ambition, passion and determination,” said Robert Marick, MGM’s Executive Vice President Global Consumer Products and Experiences. “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Survios on this exciting new video game, and look forward to giving audiences even more opportunities to interact with their favorite characters from these iconic films.”
