We initially reviewed Armello way back in 2016 upon its original launch, but recently, it garnered an actual physical release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. So we thought you may fancy a gander at what it’s all about, should you have missed it the first time round, in our latest Let’s Play offering.
As seen in the video below, we are sharing a full match – against the A.I. – of the strategic board game, Armello, where the aim is to dethrone the corrupted lion King before he succumbs to the ‘rot’ or your fellow players beat you to it. Taking turns at moving, attacking and drawing a variety of useful cards, we carefully navigate the many hazards in-play and pick our battles wisely. Our character is the mighty wolf Thane and despite our tremendous dice rolling exploits leading to the demise of those around us, even we find it difficult to topple the mighty King.
Did we eventually manage to claim the throne? Or does another animal clan steal the victory from right under our nose? You’ll have to watch to find out, if you’d like to know more about Armello, do check out our review!
