Lock’s Quest arrives on Xbox One, PS4 and PC

-

A decade ago a game arrived on Nintendo DS to critical acclaim. That game was Lock’s Quest. Now though it’s been remade and has smashed its way out of the handheld scene to arrive on the last consoles. Yep, the new, improved and beautifully recreated Lock’s Quest is here!

Available right now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, the 2017 version of Lock’s Quest comes with a fair few feature upgrades. Firstly, there is a new progressions system which automatically unlocks new turrets at certain plot points. Then there is the brand new endless Antonia Defense Battles featuring a new map, remastered high definition music and a remapped control system to ensure that Xbox One, PS4 and PC players are well catered for.

Additionally, you’ll find a new UI, one which has been created with the HD revolution in mind and includes new GUI Art, whilst the character portraits have also been revamped.

If you want to take in the gripping story of 75 days of warfare, either for the first time or to evoke past memories, then the £15.99 being asked is surely well worth the trouble. The Xbox Games Store will be able to suit out all Xbox One gamers, whilst those playing over on PS4 will need to visit their own store.

Our full review is on its way and will be with you soon!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
