The Xoobotls were a peaceful race until their world was invaded by Shadowleaf Irvine, who also introduced the concept of lootboxes to them. It wasn’t long before the Xoobotls forgot to buy essential things and instead just bought lootbox after lootbox.
I don’t think it helps that Xoobotl is an anagram of lootbox but let’s but that down to coincidence.
Now though, as the last Xoobotl in existence you are taking the fight back to Shadowleaf by traversing this platforming Metroidvania world. However, in order to get to new areas to explore, you are going to need, yes, you’ve guessed it, a lootbox. Some of those areas you will be exploring in Lootbox Lyfe+ are:
- A shadowy cave housing a lootbox addiction experimentation site.
- A pink fungal wasteland
- Interdimensional structures housing powerful lootbox rewards
- A snowy mining outpost based around extracting materials to make lootboxes
