Los Lobos and The Proclaimers headline the latest Rock Band 4 DLC

Are you going to be a star, or would you prefer to walk 500 miles? Well, the latest Rock Band 4 content allows the chance to do both, just as the Season 11 Spotlight Pass drops!

Yep, that’s right, two of the most catchy tunes the world has ever known have now moved on in to the Rock Band 4 library, giving band members the chance to head back to the late 1980s and to experience some proper music from back in the day. Those tunes are…

  • “La Bamba” – Los Lobos
  • “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” – The Proclaimers

Now whilst neither tune can really be sold on the back of being a hardcore rock anthem, they can certainly be found to be the cause of many foot tapping moments as wedding venues across the land prepared themselves for a bit of dad dancing and a huge old singalong.

Priced up at £1.59 each, no matter whether you are a fan of either Los Lobos, or The Proclaimers, chances are you won’t be able to ignore the appeal of these two tunes and will just have to see them included in your playlist. As always, the Xbox Store and the PlayStation Store will provide the musical goods should you be willing to part with a little cash.

But that’s not all that Rock Band 4 players need worry about this week and accompanying the release of these two tunes is the Season 11 Spotlight Pass. Priced at £9.59, this sees those interested given permanent access to whatever random tunes are featured as a Spotlight Song in that week’s Rivals Mode Challenge. Basically put, should you see investment in the purchase of the Season 11 Spotlight Pass, you’ll automagically find no less than 8 new songs hitting your library by the end of June 11th 2019.

Does the latest Spotlight Pass tempt you in to a purchase, or are you just happy to be found cranking up the volume and blasting out the beats of La Bamba or 500 miles? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below.
